Want some more guidelines?
For those working on this project I have a short list of some other podcasts I follow to help give you some perspective on where to head with this. Podcasts are, as I have said, no more than a speech you record. How informal or fun you make it is up to you. The important thing is that you communicate your ideas to your audience. That said, here are a few to give you an idea of some that I like to listen to: This Week in Tech: //www.twit.tv/ This is a fun round table of tech nerds talking about the latest news. I consider this one of the best, yet casual, podcasts out there. Blueshift: //astrophysics.gsfc.nasa.gov/outreach/podcast/episodes.html A less updated podcast this is a great example of a podcast that tries to be informative and fun at the same time. Galatica Watercooler: //www.galacticawatercooler.com/ A podcast for fans of the show Battlestar Galactica, this is a good example of 3 friends sitting down and recording a podcast because they like a given topic enough to babble about it. Treks in Sci Fi: www.treksf.com This is another fan cast put out by a single person and a good example of how much can be done with a little planning and a lot of dedication. Rico puts out a new episode every week reviewing an episode of one of the many Star Trek serieses. If you have any questions, concerns or thoughts, please see me for help. -- Mr. O
